"What a pleasure it is to welcome back our national holiday to the Centre de la nature! The Fête nationale in Laval is becoming less and less of a well-kept secret, attracting tens of thousands of people from all over Quebec. As FouKi would (almost) say in his song Copilote, it's time to drive "su'a quatre-quarante direction l'pont Pie-IX" to get to the Centre de la nature and have some "ZayZay" fun."

  • Stéphane Boyer, Mayor of Laval

"After taking a break for the past two years, we're very excited to welcome back our national celebration at the Centre de la nature, as well as a number of neighbourhood parties across the island. I'd like to commend the organizers for their flexibility and, above all, their undeniable creativity in offering events that appeal to all Lavallois."

  • Yannick Langlois, municipal councillor for L'Orée-des-Bois and responsible for the Fête nationale project

Site opening and free shuttle service

The main concert will take place at 8:30 p.m., but the site will be accessible from 5:30 p.m. onwards. Several street food trucks will be on hand. At the end of the evening, after the fireworks, shuttles will be available from the Centre de la nature to transport spectators free of charge to the Montmorency metro station.

A day for the whole family

To get the celebrations off to a good start, a host of activities will be offered on the enchanting site of the Centre de la nature: entertainment, face painting and inflatable games will keep families entertained from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
