LAVAL, QUEBEC (TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2020) @ILLUMICAVALIA – In ten days, Illumi – A Fairy Tale of Lights by Cavalia will launch a special edition of its outdoor light show, adapted to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Since the experience takes place in a car and spans a site three times larger, the new Illumi allows visitors to dream, have fun, and marvel in complete safety. Illumi – New Light Spectacular will run from October 9, 2020, to January 10, 2021, in Laval.

HALLOWEEN IS HAPPENING AT ILLUMI
From October 9 to November 1, visitors can experience the magic of Halloween at Illumi with monsters, ghosts, witches, and thousands of pumpkins. They can explore no fewer than 17 scenes featuring 30,000 light displays while staying warm in their cars.

To ensure social distancing guidelines are followed without compromising the magic of the show, the Cavalia team has reinvented and enhanced the second edition of its event so that people of all ages can enjoy a rare opportunity to get out of the house with their families and have fun at Illumi in a safe environment, while complying with the government measures announced last night.

“This year, Illumi will be the only large-scale attraction of its kind in Quebec, Canada, the Americas, and probably the world!” explains Normand Latourelle, creator of Illumi and founder of Cavalia. “This brand-new version of Illumi has not only been reinvented with all-new scenes, but it has been designed and produced to allow everyone to experience magical moments safely.  Since Illumi can operate safely thanks to its new format, it allows visitors of all ages to share moments of joy with their immediate family. Our teams have been working tirelessly over the past six months to create an event that inspires dreams. We need this so much!”

Given the very limited number of tickets available each day and for each time slot, some dates are already sold out. TICKETS – Tickets must be purchased in advance and reserved online at www.illumi.com/horaire-et-tarifs. Tickets start at $15.50 per child (ages 3–12) and $19.50 per adult (ages 13 and up). Add $10 for the car (driver’s ticket). A reduced rate is available for seniors (65 and older). Toddlers (ages 0–2) get free admission to Illumi. Taxes not included.
