ILLUMI REINVENTS ITSELF
The Cavalia team has reinvented and enriched the^2nd edition of its dazzling event, in order to respect the rules of physical distance without sacrificing any of the magic. Illumi - Féerie de Lumières will be presented in its new format from October 9, 2020 to January 10, 2021. This second edition ofIllumi will take place on the same site, in Laval, where the route is now three times larger than the original. Some one hundred workers are busy setting upIllumi for several weeks, adapting the largest multimedia course of its kind on the planet. Illumi has been transformed into a three-kilometre route, allowing visitors to enjoy the experience by car, on foot or aboard specially-equipped trains. To ensure everyone's safety, the footpath follows the two-metre rule and is separated from the vehicle route.

LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS
In order to control the flow of visitors, not only to guarantee a pleasant visit by avoiding congestion on the site, but also to ensure compliance with the physical distancing measures recommended by the health authorities, a limited number of admissions are available per day, per time slot and per type of experience. And sinceIllumi welcomed no fewer than 500,000 visitors to its inaugural edition last year, tickets must be purchased in advance and reserved online in order to gain access to the date, time slot and experience desired.

A SPECIAL HALLOWEEN TOUCH IN OCTOBER
This year, Illumi opens its doors at the beginning of October. Visitors can enjoy a special Halloween touch with monsters, ghosts, witches and thousands of pumpkins. November sees the arrival ofIllumi with thousands of winter-coloured light structures.

NEW PRODUCTS
The second edition ofIllumi features 17 fantastic tableaux. In all, 15 million LED bulbs will give life to over 30,000 dazzling structures.

Among the universes to be revealed this year, visitors will be delighted to discover THE MAGIC FOREST, where hundreds of multicolored trees of all shapes and made of thousands of twinkling lights set the tone for this hallucinating tableau. The mysterious undergrowth is filled with colorful mushrooms, giant snails and nimble flying squirrels.

LES CHEVAUX CAVALIA is also sure to be a hit. Inspired by Cavalia's magnificent white horses, an imaginary ride filled with beauty, mystery, nobility and power awaits visitors. What's more, the real Cavalia horses come to play and frolic with the magic of a water screen and fantastic projections.

The WONDER GARDEN is the largest painting in the second edition ofIllumi and takes visitors into a vast clearing made up of a carpet of lights with over 500,000 LED bulbs. Softly, tens of thousands of flowers - roses, tulips and sunflowers - bloom to the rhythm of the music, appearing throughout the tableau to sow the memory of an incomparable, indescribable garden of color.

Those who have experienced the magic ofIllumi magic last year will be delighted to learn that some of the most popular tableaux, including LES PÔLES À L'INFINI, LE BOULEVARD EN FOLIE and LA SAVANNE MULTICOLORE, are back in full force in enlarged and even more spectacular versions. And let's not forget the famous ARBRE ILLUMI - the largest tree of lights of its kind in the world, which can be seen from over a kilometer away - which returns to the delight of visitors and the curious alike.

For the experience by car or on foot, tickets start at $15.50 per child (3-12 years) and $19.50 per adult (13+ years). An additional $10 is required for the car (driver's ticket). For the mini-train experience, tickets start at $19.50 per child (3-12) and $28.50 per adult (13+). A Family Package (for 4 people) is available from $64 .
