NEW WORLDS
For the 2022-2023 season, illumi unveils universes and structures never seen before. The fourth iteration of illumi features 5 fantastic new universes and additions to "favorite" worlds.
Among the universes revealed this year, visitors will be delighted to discover AIR ILLUMI, where planes, helicopters and rockets are sure to impress. LE VIRAGE VERT will turn heads with its giant frogs, crocodiles, lizards and other green creatures. L'ENVOLÉE FANTASTIQUE will delight adventurers with its hot-air balloons, each more impressive, original and colorful than the last. The FARFELU VILLAGE, where disproportion, eccentricity and originality are the watchwords, invites you to take a walk out of the ordinary, where the intersections are corny, the houses bizarre and the nooks and crannies quirky. ... The UNDERWATER TUNNEL offers a completely different experience, more immersive than ever, with high-definition projections and animations that plunge visitors into the heart of the ocean. Entrance to this underwater tunnel is a virtual portal to the depths of the ocean, thanks to projections on a 180-degree dome. Taking visitors on an underwater diving excursion, this extraordinary adventure submerges them and transports them to an incredible abyss where they can rub shoulders with sharks, rays, fish and the largest mammals on the planet: the majestic whales.

illumi organizers also promise exciting programming throughout the season, including the return of the famous dog nights, to be announced and scheduled shortly.

Those who experienced the magic of illumi last year will be delighted by the return of some of the most popular tableaux, includingLES CHEVAUX CAVALIA, LA FORÊT MAGIQUE and LE ROYAUME JURASSIQUE. The stars of light are even more numerous in THE SNOW WORLD, with an even bigger and more magical version. And let's not forget the famous TREE OF LIGHTS - the largest tree of its kind in the world - which still has its place as an illumi emblem. In mid-November, the holiday illumi will be installed, with several thousand luminous structures in the colors of winter.

A total of 25 million LED bulbs give life to thousands of dazzling structures. Illumi offers a veritable epic, an imaginary adventure for young and old alike. Visitors travel spectacular routes, on foot or by car, into even more impressive worlds. A hundred or so workers have been busy setting up illumi for several weeks, to offer an extraordinary and surprising experience to both the 1.5 million visitors to previous editions and to those who have not yet had the chance to experience its magic.
