New Partnership Between Tourisme Laval the Gold Medal Club

Montreal, May 3, 2023–TheGold Medal Clubis proud to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement with Tourisme Laval. This partnership will enable our organization to continue its mission of provincial development by covering a key and dynamic business region of Quebec, as well as to promote theAthletes First program.

The Gold Medal Cluband Tourisme Laval have agreed to combine their unique strengths to support Laval athletes classified as Espoir, Relève, Élite, and Excellence, in addition to collaborating on initiatives that showcase local businesses.

“This initiative between Tourisme Laval the Gold Medal Club is a first! We are thrilled about this partnership, which encourages business leaders to inspire young people in our region to pursue their athletic and academic development with a view to a future career that lives up to their dreams,” said Geneviève Roy, President and CEO of Tourisme Laval.

Athletes need all the organizations dedicated to supporting them to work together toward a common goal and to champion their objectives. “Our local athletes are our greatest ambassadors at the local, provincial, national, and even international levels. The Athletes Firstprogram aims to build connections between athletes and businesses. This program, designed for thebusiness community seeking toprovide financial support to athletes, aims to:

• To foster mutually inspiring connections between athletes and businesses throughout their partnership;
• Provide financial support to up-and-coming athletes;
• Empower athletes in their interactions with the corporate world;
• Equip athletes so they can make the most of their abilities to showcase their talents;
