Quebec is awarding more than $4 million to Tourisme Laval boost Laval’s tourism industry

Laval, June 23, 2022 – Tourisme Laval more than $4 million from the Ministry of Tourism, a major financial injection that will enable it to revitalize the tourism industry in the greater Laval area. Recently announced by Tourism Minister Caroline Proulx, this financial support for regional tourism underscores the industry’s importance to Quebec’s economy. For Tourisme Laval, this welcome news lays the groundwork for the organization to continue fulfilling its mandate and provides new momentum for enhancing Laval’s appeal as a tourist destination. Nearly $2.5 million to develop the destination and support our partners in addressing their challenges The renewal of the agreement for the next four years—a longer period than before—will enable the organization to plan more effectively for the long term. Thus, during the term of the agreement, Tourisme Laval a maximum budget of $2,494,781 to carry out initiatives aimed at developing and promoting the region’s tourist attractions, including actions related to tourism innovation and digital transformation. For Tourisme Laval, these mandates will focus specifically on tourism promotion, marketing, visitor services, and signage, as well as on the development and structuring of the tourism offering.
