SHERATON LAVAL AN INVESTMENT OF OVER $20 MILLION

Sheraton Laval becomes one of the most innovative following major renovations, including a completely redesigned Convention Centre

Laval, April 28, 2022 - After more than two years of hard work, Groupe Hôtelier Grand Château has finally unveiled the brand-new Sheraton Laval and its completely refurbished Convention Centre. The exterior of the hotel, the Convention Centre, the public areas and the restaurant have all been redesigned to meet the needs of both corporate and leisure guests. As the first Marriott in the Laval region, the Sheraton aims to position itself as a leader in new hotel trends.

An innovative convention center
One of Quebec's largest convention centers, the Sheraton now offers 45,000 square feet of space entirely dedicated to corporate meetings. The possibilities are endless for organizers in terms of space configuration. In fact, 22,000 sq. ft. of space can be totally modularized, as required, thanks to mechanical walls and removable glass partitions. This means that up to eight multi-purpose rooms are possible, all of which can be configured in 70 different ways.

With direct access to the outdoor terrace, the new La Lavalloise hall boasts exceptional luminosity and is ideal for any type of event or convention. Events can take place both indoors and outdoors. In addition, multimedia tools, including sound and lighting, have been modernized. With a space comparable to a blank canvas and cutting-edge technological tools, all that's left to do is push back the boundaries of events to create unforgettable memories.

An unparalleled gastronomic experience

The La Spesa gourmet counter is now even more innovative! On the menu are delicious coffees, gourmet sandwiches and fresh salads, all available at any time to satisfy any craving. Coffee breaks at conventions are now even more flexible, with this new facility allowing guests to change atmosphere and really relax. The menu not only takes allergens into account, but also offers a wide selection of choices to suit everyone's tastes and needs. With La Spesa, conference organizers can offer greater latitude to participants. This warm and practical space is also much appreciated by hotel guests and visitors on a daily basis.

At La Piazza restaurant, the decor has been brought up to date, and the result is breathtaking! The fully glazed wine cellar is most impressive. Gastronomically, guests will enjoy a memorable experience with Chef Eric Robidoux's delicious Italian and Mediterranean-inspired menu and a cocktail menu concocted daily on site by a mixologist.
