The Sheraton Laval has become one of the most innovative hotels following extensive renovations, including a completely redesigned convention center
Laval, April 28, 2022 – After more than two years of hard work, the Grand Château Hotel Group is finally unveiling the brand-new Sheraton Laval and its fully renovated Convention Center. The hotel’s exterior, the Convention Center, the public spaces, and the restaurant—everything has been redesigned to meet the needs of both corporate and leisure guests. As the first Marriott in the Laval region, the Sheraton aims to position itself as a leader in new hospitality trends.
One of the most innovative convention centers
As one of Quebec’s largest convention centers, the Sheraton now offers a total of 45,000 square feet of space entirely dedicated to corporate events. The possibilities are endless for organizers when it comes to configuring the spaces. In fact, 22,000 square feet of floor space can be fully modular, depending on needs, thanks to movable walls and removable glass partitions. This makes it possible to have up to eight multipurpose rooms, all of which can be configured in 70 different ways.
With direct access to the outdoor terrace, the new La Lavalloise hall enjoys exceptional natural light and is ideal for all types of events or conferences. Events can now take place both indoors and outdoors. In addition, the multimedia equipment, including sound and lighting systems, has been upgraded. With a space akin to a blank canvas and state-of-the-art technology, all that remains is to push the boundaries of event planning to create unforgettable memories.
An unparalleled dining experience
A new addition, the La Spesa Gourmet Counter is now one of the most innovative! On the menu: delicious coffees, gourmet sandwiches, and fresh salads—all available at any time to satisfy every craving. Coffee breaks at conferences are now more flexible thanks to this new setup, which allows guests to change their surroundings and truly unwind. The menu offers a selection that, in addition to accounting for allergens, provides a wide range of options to suit everyone’s tastes and needs. With La Spesa, conference organizers can offer participants greater flexibility. This practical and welcoming space is also highly appreciated by the hotel’s guests and visitors on a daily basis.
At La Piazza restaurant , the decor has been updated to reflect contemporary tastes, and the result is stunning! The fully glass-enclosed wine cellar is particularly impressive. On the culinary front, guests are in for a memorable experience with Chef Eric Robidoux’s delicious Italian- and Mediterranean-inspired menu and a cocktail menu crafted fresh daily on-site by a mixologist.
