Challenge yourself at SOS Vortex

Located in the CF Carrefour Laval parking lot, right next to the Sheraton Laval, SOS Vortex is a maze-like course where you must complete a space-time mission involving quizzes about the environment. The goal is to find the return time vortex to escape!

This year, the maze is back with a new obstacle: “The floor is lava.” Can you rise to the challenge?

 

 

A magical moment at BFLY

This summer, the attraction BFLY is the perfect family outing. Featuring four large domes filled with colorful, sensory experiences, the BFLY butterfly garden will transport you to a magical world of hundreds of butterflies flying freely!

BFLY unveils two new attractions: a trilogy of inflatable games and a mirror maze. Dare to lose yourself in a world of luminous illusions!

Have fun at the Laval Beer Festival

The Laval Beer Festival at the Laval Nature Centre is the outdoor event you won’t want to miss! It showcases Quebec’s brewing industry and offers festival-goers the chance to sample a wide variety of Quebec beers and local products. Plus, there will be activities for the whole family: axe throwing, giant games, circus workshops, iSaute Laval, musical and comedy performances, and much more!

Dancing and singing at the Music Zones

With more than 40 free shows across the island, the Music Zones will keep you moving to the summer beat! Bring your chairs or blankets and join the dance while fully enjoying the richness of the local music scene. Jazz, soul, swing, classical, Latin music: there’s something for everyone.

Discover music and cuisine from here and around the world at Centropolis

This summer, the Central Square in Centropolis invites you to experience a summer to the rhythm of the world. Enjoy a pedestrian promenade pulsing to the beat of world music, dance performances, and game nights hosted by the Randolph, Pub Ludique. Colombian, French, American rock and swing, Indian, funk, African, and Latin music are on the program to get you dancing and take you on a journey. Sample local and international cuisine on the terrace, and don’t forget to make a reservation at your favorite restaurant!

Stock up on local products at the Foire du Vieux-Sainte-Rose

With over 85 booths, discover the creativity of local artisans and food producers at the Foire du Vieux-Sainte-Rose. The event is enlivened by a lively fair atmosphere and street performers. Plus, don’t miss the workshops for adults and children throughout the weekend: knitting, crocheting, painting, cooking, honey making, and much more!

Watch a work of art come to life right before your eyes

The Sainte-Rose Symposium is a unique artistic event where you can watch artists at work live. Come enjoy the tribute exhibition to discover or rediscover the works of artist Claire Gauthier and the Marc-Aurèle Fortin Rally, which traces the life of the Sainte-Rose-born artist. Plus, you’ll have the chance to express your creativity by participating in the guided workshop “Creating in the Style of Marc-Aurèle Fortin.”

Cultural Event

In August and September, downtown Laval comes alive with the Momo Cultural Station. This lush green space will host comedy shows, music performances, and dance battles, as well as circus acts for magical family moments, and artistic performances to brighten up your lunch breaks on one of Momo’s terraces.

Inclusivity, boldness, and diversity

The MOSAÏQUE Festival is a unique annual event featuring a dozen free performances by artists from diverse backgrounds. Don’t miss the 186th and final performance of the play “Moi et l’autre,” which explores the integration of immigrants in Quebec.
