Discover the hidden treasures of Centropolis

An important hub of urban life in Laval, Centropolis is a destination par excellence for shopping, dining and entertainment. Every visit is an opportunity to make wonderful discoveries. How would you like to discover some of its hidden treasures?

Did you know that there are 12 diamonds located throughout Centropolis? Located on the outside walls of the buildings, these diamonds are cut and painted from recycled mirrors. They are the work of French artist Le Diamantaire. Using the city as a setting and playground, Le Diamantaire gives street art a whole new dimension. Discover the thinking behind his art in this video.

Are you ready to go diamond hunting? Take a look at the Le Diamantaire map, on which diamonds are indicated approximately. A paper map is also available at Tourisme Laval, located at 480 Promenade du Centropolis.

A garden in the heart of Laval
Centropolis took a "green" turn in 2009 by embarking on an innovative and experimental initiative to replace a floral space with an ornamental vegetable garden at Place Centrale.

The vegetables grown here have original shapes and colors, whether in leaf, flower or fruit form. Some examples? Tomatoes, onions, cabbage, celery, chard and herbs.

This initiative enables Centropolis to reduce its carbon footprint and do its bit for social responsibility. The entire harvest from its vegetable garden is donated to the regional food bank, helping to feed families in need.

Two jogging routes
Did you know that there are two jogging routes? 1.1 km and 1.4 km long, the routes are marked with red lines on the ground.

Espace branché
Do you have an electric car? Charging stations are available to our customers. They are located in three areas of the site: at Place Centrale, in the parking lot between the Cinéplex cinema and Highway 15, and near the office building at 3055 Saint-Martin West.
