Free skating at Place Bell

In addition to the many Laval Rocket shows and games , Place Bell offers free skating on their community ice for an extremely low fee. You don't have to be a citizen of Laval to take part in a family skating session. The ice is also easily accessible by public transit, either by metro or the free 360 shuttle that circles downtown Laval. As an added bonus, you might even get a chance to say hello to Cosmo, the Laval Rocket's team mascot.

An interactive mission to Cosmodome

Climb aboard the Astralis shuttle and become an astronaut or flight controller for a day on the Cosmo Mission! You'll have to determine whether life has developed on Europa, a moon of Jupiter more than 600 million kilometers from Earth. Working as a team, you'll control the launch of the spaceship and the expedition from the control room. Take control!

La Bête à pain Bakery Laval

A bakery and restaurant in one, La Bête à Pain offers modern, seasonal cuisine based on quality local produce, including a lunch/dinner menu, ready-to-eat takeaways, viennoiseries/pastries and freshly baked breads. Stock up on local produce before you go!

Escape games with wacky themes

Enjoy a unique experience and enter the different worlds offered by Immersia and Escaparium. Escape games are ideal for a successful family evening. If your kids are LEGO fans, try the Bernie Block game. They'll be amazed!

A stay at the Sheraton Laval

Finally, vacations should also be a time for rest. Our children are extremely busy every day. We ask them to pay attention all the time, we hurry them along so that the routine is never broken, so why not take a little time to let go? That's what we did, as a family, during an impromptu overnight stay at the Sheraton Laval. In 31 years of living with Laval, I'd never been inside this building, which I pass almost every day.

In short, I have nothing but good things to say about this Laval hotel. If you had one little splurge to splurge on during your vacation, it would definitely be a staycation at the Sheraton Laval! The hotel offers outstanding service for families. The pool-spa-sauna circuit is fabulous, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. The big plus of this hotel, in my opinion, is the restaurant. We enjoyed the à la carte menu as well as the Sunday morning brunch buffet. What a wonderful family moment that I'd like to share with you.
