The Bernard-Landry Park is perfect for a family snowshoe outing or even for playing disc golf. Are you familiar with this sport? A course open to everyone all winter long awaits you there.

More experienced hikers would be better off heading to the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles Park or the Bois de l’Équerre, but for an outing with young children, it was perfect. Just big enough to avoid going in circles, and just small enough to walk around without getting discouraged.

Finally, for those looking for a place to enjoy a variety of winter activities, the Nature Center is an exceptional place. It’s a park that’s definitely worth a visit.

This winter is the perfect time to treat yourself, get rosy cheeks and a rosy nose, fill your lungs with fresh air, and, above all, enjoy moments of happiness outdoors. You’ll see—you won’t regret it.

Winter: Outdoors with the Family

Everything is exciting in winter. You can head out to the city’s many ice rinks, go ice skating, snowshoeing in the great outdoors, cross-country skiing on exceptional trails that wind through forests and farmland, and even set off on a snowmobile adventure. Snowmobiling? That’s right—there are about sixty kilometers of trails marked and maintained by the Laval Snowmobile Club.

Another activity that brings the family together is ice fishing. Head to the banks of the Rivière des Mille Îles to try your hand at fishing.
