What's winter without skating?

Here's the ideal family activity for enjoying the joys of winter. Laval is home to many skating rinks, and the Tourisme Laval team has put together a selection of our favorites.

Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-îles

Favorite feature : The skating rink atParc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles is definitely a unique place to discover. After a day in the great outdoors, warm up at the Café de l'Archipel with a cup of hot chocolate.

Center de la nature skating rink

Favorite feature : For its vibrant, fairytale atmosphere, the Centre de la Nature skating rink is the place to be for a successful outing. Enjoy this 18,500m2 ice rink, maintained with a resurfacer. With background music. Fun guaranteed!

Bleu Blanc Bouge skating rink

Favorite feature : The Bleu Blanc Bouge refrigerated rink is sure to impress. The quality of the ice is impeccable, since regular maintenance is carried out between each free skating period.

This winter, rediscover the pleasure of sliding. Many of Laval's parks have set up sliding areas, and it's simply fantastic. The Tourisme Laval team shares with you its favorite slides.

Get out there! Dress warmly and hit the slopes.

The Nature Center

Favourite feature: With its many slides, the Nature Centre is the perfect place to go sliding this winter. Tube rentals are available on site. Please note that the sliding site is accessible by reservation only.

Berge aux Quatre-Vents

Favorite feature: Located on the banks of the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, Berge aux Quatre-Vents features a large, custom-built slide. What's more, while the kids are having fun sliding, take advantage of the ephemeral play facilities to admire the incredible view over the water.

Parc Bernard-Landry 

Favorite feature : The Bernard-Landry Park slide is worthy of an amusement park. What's more, a large snow mound adds to these sliding corridors. As an added bonus, the park has a snow labyrinth that's sure to delight the little ones!
