Defying the heights at Clip 'n climb is... so cool!
Do you want to get moving, take on a challenge and take part in a family activity that will allow you to enjoy quality time together as a family? Set course for the Clip 'n climb climbing center !
It's a great activity for kids and adults alike. Of course, you have to be prepared to challenge the heights a little, but you don't have to be Spiderman, I guarantee it. It's simply a question of wanting to climb and doing your best. I tested the activity with my nieces Maëva and Émy and my nephew Jackson, aged 12, 11 and 6 respectively. All three are unanimous when they sum up their experience: "It was so cool, Auntie! "Will we be able to come back soon?" they added with sparkling eyes, broad smiles and fingers crossed in the hope that their wishes would be granted.
Over 30 themed climbing walls
Clip 'n climb offers over 30 themed climbing walls of varying levels of difficulty for fun, challenge and self-confidence. The world is colorful, attractive and stimulating. Among other things, there are walls with ropes, pegs, ladders and geometric shapes, with stopwatches for competitions between participants. There's even the option of climbing in the dark.
Young and old alike can climb up to a height of 10 meters and come back down safely. There's no need to worry, the self-belaying system is designed for anyone weighing between 10 and 150 kg. Climbing is simple, safe and accessible. Apart from the harness, no other equipment or training is required. The activity is preceded by a 15-minute information session, during which we are shown how to put on the harness and the instructions to be followed. As for the free climbing period, it lasts 60 minutes. An hour that goes by quickly.
Interestingly, on the walls are cards suggesting challenges to increase the level of difficulty. The many friendly animators are also on hand to help us, answer our questions and suggest exercises that will call on different physical skills and strategic movements.
Skydiving and angel jumping for the more adventurous
Looking for a good dose of adrenalin? Let yourself be tempted by skydiving and angel jumping.
For freefall, you need to don a wetsuit and hold on to a handle as you climb, as high as you're able (up to a maximum of 10 meters), and then let yourself slide. As for the Angel Jump, you have to launch yourself into the air towards a trapeze from a springboard 8 meters above the ground, held in place by a back harness. Two challenges for the brave, requiring the purchase of a token.
A unifying activity
Climbing at Clip 'n climb is a unifying activity. It's a chance to get moving, cheer each other on, laugh and congratulate each other. I still smile when I think of the "go for it, Auntie, you can do it!
For those interested, children's parties and other celebrations can be organized at the climbing center. The facility also offers climbing courses for children aged 6 to 12(Monkey Academy) and subscription packages for climbing enthusiasts.
