You usually spend your vacations camping, but this year, does the idea of sleeping nice and warm in a comfortable bed appeal to you? Or maybe you just want a change of scenery and to have an out-of-the-ordinary experience? Whatever the reason, a night at a hotel in Laval is always a good idea.
The Sheraton, the Residence Inn, the Holiday Inn, the Comfort Inn, the Hilton and the Grand Hôtel TiMES are six family-friendly hotels near Centropolis and the Carrefour Laval, making it easy to get around the island. For Rocket fans, the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott is strategically located near theMontmorency metrostation and Place Bell.
The Sheraton, with its pool and hot tub, leaves no one indifferent—especially not the kids, who feel like they’re in paradise. You can even get two connecting rooms. This is the perfect option for families. Parents have more privacy, and it also allows you to separate the living areas: one side for sleeping, the other for playing. If you’re coming to Laval to shop, this hotel is the closest to the CF Carrefour Laval —you won’t even have to move your car.
To satisfy those little tummies that are always hungry, you’ll be glad to know that the Sheraton features the La Spesa gourmet counter right in the hotel, as well as the wonderful La Piazza restaurant.

The Residence Inn is a real favorite for two reasons in particular. First, the hotel has been recently renovated to meet modern standards, and second, families can rent full suites there. Since these suites are fully equipped, you can settle in comfortably, prepare delicious, healthy, and balanced meals, all while spending quality time in an atmosphere that’s a nice change from home. The Residence Inn is also a very pet-friendly hotel. Your four-legged family members are welcome, too—subject to certain conditions.
The Holiday Inn is an easily accessible, very welcoming, and user-friendly hotel located near all of Laval’s major attractions (CF Carrefour Laval, Cosmodome, Place Bell, iFly, etc.). In addition to its spacious and comfortable rooms, the Holiday Inn offers another major perk: the French brasserie Chez Lionel (attached to the hotel), where children 11 and under staying at the hotel eat for free.
The Comfort Inn, like most hotels in Laval, is also located in the heart of downtown. Its easy access is a major advantage, as is the fact that breakfast is included in the room rate and that small pets are allowed.
At the Hilton, you can really treat yourself by renting the family suite (designed with the environment in mind). This suite, which features two separate bedrooms, a small living room, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave, is perfect for a vacation with the kids! There’s even a pool on site.

Did you know that the Grand Hotel TiMES Laval Centropolis is furnished, equipped, and maintained by local businesses and individuals? This is a great bonus for travelers looking for more eco-friendly options. It’s also a fantastic place to stay for families, offering modern rooms and suites, a guest laundry room, and the Sofia, an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel.
Located right across from Place Bell, in the Espace Montmorency complex, the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott offers modern, spacious rooms and suites, a high-quality restaurant, and breathtaking terraces. But we also love this hotel because it’s just a short walk from the Montmorency metro station, providing hassle-free transportation for small families.
